Deletion in robust distributed hash tables becomes possible if the peer-to-peer links are social and friendly. If you wish to delete an item (that you "own"), simply issue the deletion request to everyone who got it from you (and each of them forwards it the same way).
Whether they comply with the deletion request may be later measured (try fetching the item from them), and the basis of whether they can be trusted as a friend in the future.
